What is Copilot?
Copilot in Microsoft Advertising Platform is your AI-powered assistant for digital advertising. It helps marketers generate creative assets, analyze performance, and automate workflows – all through natural language prompts or API integration. By combining generative AI with Microsoft’s advertising ecosystem, Copilot enables advertisers to move faster, think bigger, and achieve more with less effort.

Image Animation: Turning Images into Scroll-Stopping Videos
In a video-first era, Copilot makes creating dynamic content effortless – especially in APAC, where video dominates digital engagement. According to WeAreSocial, audiences in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam already spend more time watching online video than the global average, making video a critical format for advertisers in the region. With Image Animation, advertisers can breathe new life into their best-performing image assets by converting them into eye-catching video creatives. This feature helps brands stay competitive while extending asset shelf-life across Microsoft’s global network of premium video publishers.
Image Animation is now in global pilot (excluding mainland China) and available through Ads Studio’s video templates.
